ARCHITECTURAL E-PORTFOLIO

COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
TUTOR: MR KOH JING HAO
COMP APP: Welcome
This subject covers the fundamentals of creating three-dimensional computer drawings. Lectures and tutorial sessions are offered, as well as little handouts, to assist us in our learning process, which I found to be really beneficial. This module helps me to experiment and navigate the software with ease because I am new to it. We were given the task of creating a Revit model containing architectural elements such as roofs, walls, floors, curtain walls, doors, windows, stairs, and railings in the first project. We also learned how to make family files, which will let us make unique components for our building design. Aside from that, we learned how to use Revit documentation docs to neatly document our drawings.
I'm happy for this module because it provides a thorough and instructive introduction to digital software. I learned to utilise 3DSMax to render our models for our second project, which was surprisingly enjoyable! It was first perplexing for me, and I had to try several times before I got it right, but I'm glad it worked out in the end. I especially enjoyed the Photoshop post-production phase since it was so satisfying to see the renders come to life.
I'd also like to express my gratitude to my instructor, Mr. Koh, who has been quite helpful in aiding us and ensuring that we are able to complete the sessions. He's also given us pointers and guidance when we've run across problems during the process. Overall, this module has given me a head start in mastering computer software as I move forward in my architecture school career.
