Assignment 01 :
Industrialised Building System
This group project primarily addresses the issues of Industrialized Building System (IBS). We are introduced to the various IBS system kinds and calculating methods in the classroom before starting this project. First, each group must create a 3-story apartment building utilising primarily IBS components. before making an actual segment model of the structure to precisely illustrate the IBS parts.
We are required to conduct a research on a building, ideally an apartment, that was built entirely or in part using the IBS method in a group of five students. We are to identify all the IBS components employed, including the right sizes, etc. The layout of an apartment unit must include a living room, a dining space, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The size of an apartment unit should not exceed 100 square metres. The design should mostly use IBS structures and elements, such as precast walls, blockwork, hollow core slabs, stairs made of precast concrete, toilet pods, and prefabricated wood roof trusses, all of which should be used in the right sizes.
Thus, the concept and framework of the suggested IBS categories, pertinent drawings like plans, elevations, sections, isometric views, sectional perspectives and details, the order of construction, the schedule of modular components, and the calculation of the IBS score for the building make up the report's content. The report must also include a concept and framework that may address the suitability of the proposed system, the characteristics of the planned IBS components, the fabrication process, and the order of construction.

Assignment 02 :
Construction Detailing of Building Elements
The purpose of this project is to assist us as students in our technical research and design creation for the Studio Design Project (fourth semester). To make sure that the student's design has logical and practical construction systems, it deals with the analysis and establishment of the structural and envelope systems. Additionally, we were urged to consider construction as an essential component of the design rather than merely an afterthought. Amateur designers frequently create their rooms without considering the logistics of building, subsequently having to deal with the headache of reworking their plans owing to the impractical ideas.
Thus, this assignment is created with the goal of addressing this issue and raising students' technical proficiency.
Consists of two parts; the first part examines the structural and envelope systems of the student's design and establishes their analysis. This is done to make sure the construction methods are sensible and practical while also pushing students to incorporate construction into their designs rather than just using it as "tools" to create something. The second section is a continuation of the first and requires students to demonstrate how the findings from earlier research were incorporated into the project's final presentation drawings. The main drawings for this part will be the detail sectional drawing of the design which is also one of the requirements of the design studio.
