ARCHITECTURAL E-PORTFOLIO

ARCHITECTURE HISTORY AND THEORY
In this module, students are subjected to the chronological history of ancient architecture ranging spanning the Neolithic Age to the modern context. As such, students will expand their architectural vocabulary, knowledge of various styles and periods as well as their respective architectural interpretations.
REFLECTION AND PERSPECTIVE
Looking back on the lectures, evaluations, and projects delivered during this challenging semester, I am pleased to report that, thanks to the lecturers', tutors', and students' ongoing collaboration, the various barriers that arose as a result of the situation at hand were eliminated to the greatest extent possible.
Although not as effective as frequent face-to-face encounters in the studio, I acknowledge that in today's world, online learning has become the new norm. As a result, I admire the lecturers and teachers for putting up such great effort.
On that topic, I appreciate my tutors' and module organizers' efforts to provide online learning no matter what the cost, including meticulously creating lecture slides and putting up submission boxes. They have worked tirelessly throughout the semester to ensure a smooth learning environment.

BADGES
Obtaining these virtual medals was an innovative way for us to be vigilant while finishing our evaluations during the 14 weeks of online study. These badges were earned through weekly submissions, online quizzes, and tutorial assessments.
ASSIGNMENTS AND PROJECTS
SKETCHING ANALYSIS
We were tasked with conducting research and sketching analysis on a number of significant historical structures. We had to use a variety of architectural vocabulary to refer to certain styles, features, and periods throughout the investigation. As a result, it was predicted that the research would provide a clear timeline of architectural representations.
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS REPORT
Students were required to create an illustrative booklet presenting two historical structures in a modern Malaysian context in order to properly display their architectural elements and influences for this report. Students were encouraged to use appropriate architectural vocabulary and explore the different design considerations that contributed to the buildings' ultimate shapes.
